How much will it cost me?
Services covered will be billed to insurance for those with Medicaid and Medicare. For services not covered and those without insurance, Maryland residents will be charged on a sliding fee scale. Out of state residents are responsible for the full Medicaid rate equivalent. Additional fees may apply for appointments made through Connection to Care by the organization providing the service.

What insurance do you take?
We currently accept Maryland Medical Assistance and Maryland Medicaid MCOs (Jai, United Healthcare, MedStar, Maryland Physicians Care, Amerigroup, Riverside). Dental coverage will vary by MCO. Patients with no coverage must provide financial information. We now also happily accept Medicare plans.

How do I make an appointment?
Appointments can be made by calling our main number. The patient navigators will take basic information and schedule you for the next available appointment. In addition, current patients may use their Patient Portal account to request an appointment.

What if I can’t make my appointment?
Our office will call you a minimum of 24 hours before your appointment as a reminder. If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel at or before this time. Many people are in need of our services, and if you will not be present for your appointment we encourage 24 hours notice so we can notify someone else of the opening. If you are unable to arrive at the time of your scheduled appointment, please notify us in advance. Anyone arriving past their appointment time will be asked to reschedule, or wait until there is an availability in the provider’s schedule.

How can I volunteer?
Volunteers are always welcome! To become a part of our team, please call us at our main number or stop by to fill out an application.

How do I get medical/dental records?
Call our main number, or fax a records request. Individuals must sign a release for records. Dental x-rays can be picked up in office and must be requested 24 hours in advance. In most instances, medical records are free. Our office asks for 24 hours notice for all records requests. Please bring all available new records from outside office visits with you at the time of your appointment to expedite check-in.

Can you help me with my prescriptions?
Health Partners occasionally receives a pharmacy grant. When we have this grant, we are able to assist individuals with paying for prescriptions. We are not able to write prescriptions for individuals who are not current Health Partners patients, however.

What dental procedures does your office do?
Our dental services include screenings, cleanings, x-rays, fillings, some surgical and non-surgical extractions, root canals, dentures, crowns, bridges and partials. We do not currently offer implants or braces.

Does your office do physicals?
Yes, we do general physicals. Health Partners does offer DOT physicals on certain days. We do not handle Workman’s Comp situations or Auto Insurance claims. We may be able to recommend a doctor who does them for individuals without insurance based on the situation.
